Urdu language is very powerful, so are its slogans that played an important role in India's freedom struggle. But unfortunately the language was crushed once the country attained Independence though Maulana Azad was the first education minister and Nehru, a self proclaimed Urdu wala, was the first Prime Minister.

So, they will not wear Khaki shorts now. Hope better sense will prevail on the real issues too. The idea of nationalism needs to be reviewed in the era of the global village.
