BJP MLA ARRESTED FOR MUZAFFARNAGAR RIOTS
Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday arrested Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Suresh Rana for allegedly making hate speech in connection with Muzaffarnagar riots. Rana had been attending Uttar Pradesh Assembly session for the last few days even as police officials had been waiting outside the building to arrest political leaders accused of making inflammatory speeches. The police arrested him from Samta Mulak Samaj Chowk in Lucknow after Rana came out of the Assembly building after the session got over at around 5 pm. He has been taken to the Gomti Nagar police station. Uttar Pradesh Police Inspector General (Law And Order) Rajkumar Vishwakarma said that Rana was arrested when he was on his way from the BJP office to Gomati Nagar area of Lucknow in a car.
Arrest warrants were issued against 16 political leaders three days ago and Rana is the first one to be arrested. Earlier, BJP leader Uma Bharti had challenged the Samajwadi Party government saying that the state government should be ready to face the repercussions if any arrests were made without any investigations. Arrest warrants were issued against several UP politicians including BJP MLAs Sangeet Som, Bhartentu Singh, Suresh Rana, Bharatiya Kisan Union leaders Rakesh Tikait and Naresh Tikait, BSP MP Kadir Rana, BSP MLAs Noor Saleen Rana, Jameel Ahmed, Congress leader and former Muzaffarnagar MP Saeed-ur-Zama, Samajwadi Party's Rasheed Siddiqui and 16 other people.
WHO IS A TERRORIST ?
What is the definition of a terror attack?
Is it the faith of the attackers that matters the most to declare an strike as terror attack ?
There is a tendency especially in the western countries to look at things this way.
We have seen this in the case of Washington Naval Yard shooting.
We have seen in this in the case of a devastating attack by an ultra nationalist on a youth convention in Norway.
Whereas the Boston Marathon bombing was declared as terrorist attack within no time, though the casualties were less compare to the other ones I mentioned.
Was it because of the faith of the suspected Tsarnaev brothers ?
For the Western world the Washington and Oslo attackers were not terrorists despite the severity of their crimes and the devastation they brought.
For them they were 'insane' and 'mentally ill'.
Logically speaking whoever kills innocent people randomly is insane and mentally ill.
Either you call all such fanatics as insane or declare all of them as terrorists.
Shun this double standard NOW.

IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BATTLE WHEN IT WAS TIME TO PRAY
( Shikwah - Stanza 11 )
In the middle of the battle when it was time to pray,
the nation of Hijaz knelt down to pray- facing the Qibla
Both Mahmood and Ayaz stood in one row.
No one remained a master or a slave.
The slave and the master, the poor and the rich, all became one.
All were equal when they stood in front of you.

The participants of the program stressed on the need to promote peace and harmony between the two neighbouring countries. The leader of the Indian parliamentary delegation Mani Shankar Aiyar suggested both the countries to adopt a common peace anthem and said India and Pakistan should fight the terrorism together and this war against terror should start from Islamabad instead of white house. DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOU ?
It is good to see so many people especially the youths are coming forward for a common cause. I wonder if any one of them can come forward and offer her a dignified life. It needs a lot of courage.
DO YOU HAVE IT IN YOU ?
WON'T LIVE IN INDIA IF MODI BECOMES PM : WRITER
Gynanpith awardee and acclaimed Kannada writer Dr UR Ananthamurthy has said he will not live in a country with Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister, triggering angry reactions from BJP which said he was free to leave India.
As a controversy broke out over his strident anti-Modi remark, Ananthamurthy on Thursday stood his ground and said the Gujarat chief minister would create fear among people if he becomes Prime Minister.
"I would not want to live in a country where Modi is the Prime Minister," he said at an event in Bangalore recently.
Against the backdrop of vitriolic attacks against him from the BJP and its sympathisers for his remarks, Ananthamurthy said, "He (Modi) will create fear and if a fearsome man is sitting there, people will just bow down to him because a bully creates cowards."
The country needs to build a citizenry who are not afraid and a governance where people do not follow a leader slavishly, he told reporters.
Furious at Ananthamurthy's remarks, BJP and supporters of the BJP's prime ministerial candidate dubbed him "parasite like" alleging he swayed according to political climate, having supported Congress and JDS in the past and "currying" favours with the government of the day.
BJP MP Ananthkumar Hegde and several local party leaders said he was free to leave the country.
Several writers, including Baragur Ramachandrappa and K Marulasiddappa, have come out in support of Ananthamurthy while some others such as noted scholar Dr Chidananda Murthy flayed him.
Ananthamurthy said there was dignity attached to Prime Minister's post when Pandit Nehru and Narasimha Rao assumed the charge, but this will wane away if Modi becomes PM.
"We had people like Nehru who could write a book in jail --Discovery of India, a great book even today. Rao was a great scholar too. There was some dignity for the Prime Minister's post, but that dignity will go (if Modi becomes PM), he said.
On BJP leaders' attacks on him, Ananthamurthy said he had been critical of Indira Gandhi and Nehru in the past but was never abused as much as the saffron party did. "If I say something and I am abused so much by a gang of people, imagine when they are in power what will happen," he said.
Ananthamurthy said the BJP has always criticised him because he did not buy the RSS Hindu philosophy. "They are a fascist party and don't understand Hinduism. It is a great religion," he said.
On UPA government, he said it is not anti-people but was corrupt and should be punished. "But the way out is not choosing a man like Modi," he said.
A DIFFERENT BEAUTY PAGEANT IN INDONESIA
JAKARTA — The finale of a beauty pageant exclusively for Muslim women is being held in the Indonesian capital, in a riposte to the Miss World contest in Bali that has drawn fierce opposition from Islamic radicals.
Twenty contestants will show off the latest Islamic fashion trends in the Muslimah World pageant and will also take part in other activities, such as reciting the Koran, aimed at demonstrating their piety.
“We’re just trying to show the world that Islam is beautiful,” said Obabiyi Aishah Ajibola, a 21-year-old contestant from Nigeria, one of six countries represented at the pageant.
“We are free and the hijab (Muslim headscarf) is our pride.”
The contestants — who can only enter the competition if they wear a headscarf — have undergone three days of “spiritual training” in the run-up to the final in Jakarta, waking up before dawn to pray together and sharpen their Koranic reading skills.
Organizers say they want to show Muslim women there is an alternative to the idea of beauty put forward by the British-run Miss World pageant, and also want to show that opposition to the pageant can be expressed non-violently.
Organizer Eka Shanti, who founded the pageant three years ago after losing her job as TV news anchor for refusing to remove her headscarf, bills the contest as “Islam’s answer to Miss World.”
“This year we deliberately held our event just before the Miss World final to show that there are alternative role models for Muslim women,” she told AFP.
It is a starkly different approach to the groups of Islamic radicals who have taken to the streets in recent weeks to protest Miss World, denouncing the contest as “pornography” and burning effigies of the organizers.
Despite a pledge by organizers to drop the famous bikini round for the pageant in the world’s most populous Muslim-majority country, radical anger was not appeased and the protest movement snowballed.
The government finally bowed to the mounting pressure and ordered the whole three-week pageant be moved to Hindu-majority Bali, where it opened on September 8.
Later rounds and the final, on September 28, had originally been scheduled to be held in and around Jakarta, where there is considerable hardline influence.
While beauty is very much at the heart of Muslimah World — contestants’ height and weight is shown on the pageant’s website and it is sponsored by a halal make-up brand — the contestants’ piety is also a big factor.
More than 500 contestants competed in online rounds to get to the final in Indonesia, one of which involved the contenders comparing stories of how they came to wear the headscarf.
On Wednesday night, contestants will retell these stories and answer questions from judges at the final in a Jakarta shopping mall, and the 20 finalists will be whittled down to four before a winner is crowned.
“What I will be looking for is strength of personality — someone with a vision for the future, who gives back to their community and shows that beauty is not just about bodies,” said Jameyah Sheriff, an education expert from Malaysia who is on the judging panel.
Shanti said the contest was first held in 2011 and was then only open to Indonesians but it proved so popular that it was opened up to international entrants.

BANK LOANS TO GO UP
Mumbai: The country's largest lender, State Bank of India, today increased its base rate, or the minimum rate of lending, to 9.80 per cent, a day ahead of the RBI's policy review.
"State Bank of India has revised the base rate by 0.10 per cent from 9.70 per cent per annum to 9.80 per cent," it said in a statement. Retail term deposit rates have been revised upward, it said.
SBI is the first major state-run bank to hike lending rates after short-term rates rose as a result of the Reserve Bank of India's liquidity tightening moves announced in July. The decision comes on the eve of the mid-quarter review of the monetary policy.
According to watchers, new RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan has been given some room to take an accommodative stance after the US Federal Reserve surprisingly delayed the tapering of liquidity infusion.
SBI also increased the spreads on auto and home loans by as much as 0.20 per cent, which will affect new borrowers. Home and auto loan borrowers typically pay a margin, or a spread, above the base rate, which is arrived at as per the risk and quantum of borrowing.
The bank has hiked rates for loans under the benchmark prime lending rate, an older system of computing interest rates, to 14.55 per cent from 14.45 per cent. The lending rate hikes are effective from today, it added.
A senior bank official said the decision to increase rates was taken by the asset liability committee, which met late last evening.
"There has been an increase in our cost of funds and the pressure will only increase further as we enter the festive season, which increases the requirement for liquidity," the official told PTI.
New housing loans under Rs 30 lakh will come at 10.10 per cent as against 9.95 per cent earlier, while interest rates on auto loans will go up to 10.75 per cent, the official said.
STAY ORDER ON COMPENSATION TO RELEASED MUSLIM YOUTHS RECALLED
Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday recalled its stay order on the compensation given to 70 Muslim youngsters wrongly arrested in connection with Mecca Masjid blast and other terror related cases.
The Andhra High Court had on Tuesday cancelled the compensation given to them and asked the state government to recover money from them.
The high court also made these Muslim youngsters respondents in the case and directed them to file their reply in two weeks.
The High Court, while setting aside a 2011 state government order offering compensation to 70 Muslim youngsters who were wrongly detained and later acquitted in the 2007 Mecca Masjid blast case, said on Tuesday that there was no legal basis for it.
The High Court while the passing the verdict said the government went beyond its jurisdiction while awarding the compensation.
The order was passed in response to a citizen's petition which challenged the government's authority to pay such compensation.
The complainants were free to file a civil case for compensation, the High Court said.
A large number of Muslims youths had alleged that they were tortured in custody.
In 2011, on the recommendation of the National Minorities Commission, the state government had offered Rs 20,000 to 50 Muslim youngsters and Rs 3 lakh each to 20 others who were arrested and allegedly tortured in police custody.
The state government also decided to implement the recommendations made by the National Commission of Minorities to undo the injustices done to these youths. Fourteen people were killed and 118 injured in the blasts and subsequent police firing on agitators.
As most of the amount has already been disbursed, the state government said that it will file an appeal.

IT HAPPENS ONLY IN INDIA !
At last won the battle to reach the office. The whole city was standstill.
Had to struggle a lot to reach here. We are living in a country where faiths and blind faiths are more important than the basics of a civilized society. I wonder what could happen in medical emergencies on a day like this when you can not even walk with ease on city roads forget about the thought of fast moving ambulances. If I were to decide I would have banned all religious processions irrespective of any faith. Your faith should not stand in the way of a patient's journey to hospital or other routine commuters as such. But the question here is who will bell the cats ?

AP GOVERNMENT TO CHALLENGE HC ORDER ON COMPENSATION TO MUSLIMS YOUTHS ?
The Andhra Pradesh government is likely to challenge in the Supreme Court a high court verdict striking down the state's order awarding "compensation" to 70 Muslim youths, allegedly "implicated" in the Mecca Masjid bomb blasts case. "The Chief Minister will discuss the issue with the Advocate General and take a decision on filing an appeal in the Supreme Court," a source in the Chief Minister's Office said. The Minorities Welfare Department, which issued the order on December 6, 2011, awarding Rs 70 lakh as compensation to 70 youths, has taken up the issue with the Law Department following the High Court verdict delivered yesterday, official sources said. "The Chief Minister will discuss the issue with the Advocate General and take a decision on filing an appeal in the Supreme Court," a source in the Chief Minister's Office said. "The compensation was awarded based on the recommendations of the National Commission for Minorities (NCM). The issue was also discussed in the state Assembly in 2010-11," a senior official in the Minorities Welfare Department said. The NCM had recommended payment of compensation to the 70 youths by deducting the amount from the salaries of policemen responsible for implicating the youths in criminal cases in the aftermath of the Mecca Masjid blasts in 2007. Minorities Welfare Department of the state government, in its order on December 6, 2011, sanctioned a sum of Rs 70 lakh "towards expenditure to be incurred in connection with Confidence Building Measures and compensation" for 20 cases affected in the blasts in 2007. Of the 70 youths, 20 got Rs 3 lakh each while the rest were given Rs 20,000 each, according to official sources. The state government paid the money from its own coffers without deducting it from the policemen's salaries as directed by the NCM, attracting criticism from the High Court. "Under which law did the government pay the compensation," the High Court division bench, headed by Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice KC Bhanu, questioned and asserted that the government could not act on its own in such matters. In December 2010, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy promised in the state Assembly, following a request by Majlis leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, that the state government would not only withdraw police cases against the youth but also pay compensation for their rehabilitation. The Government Order (on compensation) was issued a year later in December 2011 which now stands annulled by the High Court. Andhra Pradesh Minority Welfare Minister Mohammed Ahmadullah told PTI, "We respect the high court orders. The Chief Minister (N Kiran Kumar Reddy) held a meeting on the matter today. The High Court judgement copy did not come. The Chief Minister decided that a final decision will be taken after studying the judgment, and as per law." He recalled that the compensation was paid after minority MLAs represented to the chief minister in the Assembly seeking justice to the victims.

AABROO OR BE AABROO ?
Being judgemental about someone's personal preferences is the last thing I would do in my life, but I have some serious questions about this issue. These questions were there in my mind from the beginning, but I never bothered to ask. Now that I'm being taunted continuously for not raising this issue through my writings and facing sarcastic tone in the allegations of political affiliation, I choose to ask the following questions on this much talked about issue.
I ll be the happiest person if anyone can answer them to my satisfaction and clear the air.
Here they are.....
1 - Why did she reach that level of comfort with him where he could make her drink some intoxicating substance ?
2 - How could he manage to shift her when she was not in her senses in the broad daylight from a college campus where hundreds of other students were there ?
3 - How is it possible that she could not get a chance to raise the alarm for such a long time ?
4 - why didn't she take the help of neighbours despite living in more than one flat in reasonably populated areas for sufficient periods ?
5 - How could he manage to shift her from one place to another without being noticed by other apartment inmates ?
6 - Was the escape from the clutches of a habitual drunkard so difficult ?
7 - Was he accompanying her all the time in these 17 months and never left her alone ?
8 - Isn't this appears to be a case of consensual relationship when think logically ?
9 - Is she now raising hue and cry after grapes turned sour and dreams shattered ?
10 - Why didn't they earlier pursue the missing complaint so vigorously ?
These are few questions I m unable to digest. Please help me understand. I hope my apprehensions will prove wrong.

BAIL PLEA OF THE ACCUSED IN AKBAR OWAISI ATTACK CASE REJECTED
Justice B Chandra Kumar of the AP High Court on Monday dismissed the bail petition of Awad Bin Younus Yafai one of the accused in the case of assault on MIM legislature Akbaruddin Owaisi.
Mr. Vinod Kumar Deshpande, public prosecutor opposing the bail, said that the bail granted to the petitioner by the High Court earlier was cancelled by the Supreme Court. He contended that the once the Apex Court canceled the bail granted by the High Court , judicial propriety mandates that the petitioner has to again move his bail before it.
Agreeing with the contention , the judge dismissed the bail plea.
TAKE BACK THE COMPENSATION GIVEN TO MUSLIM YOUTHS ' ORDERS AP HIGH COURT
The Andhra Pradesh High Court on Monday set side an order of the state government issued to pay compensation to certain persons of Muslim Community who were arrested in connection with bomb blast in Mecca Masjid of the city and later acquitted from the case.
A division bench comprising Chief Justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and Justice KC Bhanu was dealing with a Public Interest Litigation by S Venkatesh Goud of city challenging a memo of the state government to award compensation to Muslim youth.
The bench directed that the government should recover the compensation from the persons who have already paid and no to make any further disbursement.
Maintaining that the decision of the government was unauthorised and not justifiable, the bench said that government has to maintain restrain while taking such decisions.
The bench ruled that the government has no authority or the jurisdiction to pay compensation for payment of such compensation. The bench made it clear that merely on the ground of their acquittal or discharge from the case, the compensation cannot be awarded.
The bench pointed out that instead of helping the poor persons on the streets, it was not correct for the government to pat compensation without any basis of law.
It may be recalled that after bomb blast in Mecca Masjid on May 18, 2007, the police suspect the hands of the Muslim youth of the city and took custody of several youth from the Old City.
As the probe of the Central Bureau of Investigation exposed the involvement of Hindu militants in the blasts in Mecca Masjid and Ajmer Dargah, the local youth were discharged from the case.
The state government has decided to pay compensation to them as there was no involvement of the local youth in the case and also recommendations made by the National Commission of Minorities to the state government to undo the injustices done to these youths.
The government has decided that Rs 3 lakhs to each for 20 persons and Rs 20, 000 per each to 50 youths who were also taken in to custody by the Hyderabad police and tortured.

NO MORE NEWS READING AT AIR !
It was a different day for me at the Radio Station. I went there yesterday as any other Sunday but didn't read the news, a job I was doing since close to one and half decade.
I am pleased to inform you that I m bestowed with an honour to edit news (not just Urdu) at The State Broadcaster.
I would like to thank the AIR officials for the trust reposed in me.
Would leave no stone unturned to meet their expectations.
THIS IS WHAT I HAVE TO SAY
I'm overwhelmed with gratitude and moved by the expectations people have from me. My mailbox is flooded with the queries like why I have not said anything about SM. I take this grilling as your love and hope associated with me.
Friends I too have something to complain about.
I would like to point out that this particular issue was first raised by Urdu news papers including Etemaad more than a week ago (On Sept 7), but then nobody moved as you hardly care about what Urdu news papers write. It is regrettable to note that most of us are not able to read Urdu though we claim it to be our mother tongue. We proudly say 'we don't know how to read Urdu'.
Now that an English news paper has reported it, we all started chanting the chorus 'we want justice and hang the culprit'.
A case is registered few days ago much before you woke up and started this hue and cry. The law will take its own course.
As far my views on rapes are concerned, all rapists should be STONED TO DEATH within no time.
"HANG THE RAPIST" : ASAD OWAISI
Hyderabad MP and MIM president Asaduddin owaisi today demanded to hang the culprit allegedly involved in the sexual exploitation of a Muslim girl in Hyderabad. Addressing a seminar in Hyderabad he said death penalty should be awarded to this person who sexuality assaulted the girl for months, as done in the Delhi gang rape and murder case.
Mr. Owaisi lamented that women are being treated like an object in India as a result of which the crimes against fairer sex are on the rise. "Delhi has turned into the rape capital", he opined while referring to the frequent incidents of crimes against women in the national capital.
MIM Supremo said alienation from the the religious teachings causing new evils in the Muslim society.
BABU KHAN NO MORE - "EK SHAMA AUR BUJHI"
The minorities of Andhra Pradesh have lost a sympathizer in the demise of Basheeruddin Babu Khan. It is yet another shock for them in less than two months after the death of TDP leader Lal Jan Basha.
The community is losing its stalwarts with frequent intervals and it is regrettable to note that we are not able to find their replacement or fill the vacuum created by their deaths.
A true friend of the community he would always care for the upliftment of the people.
A higlhy educated politician he was the founder member of Telugu Desam Party. He served in the cabinet of NTR and Chanda Babu Naidu. He resigned from the ministry to protest against the TDP's alliance with the communal BJP.
May Allah accept his good deeds for the masses and grant him the highest place in Jannat.

The world conquerors were not arrogant in their behaviour
We read the kalima in the shade of swords
A 'MUSLIM ASARAM' ?
On the day when death sentence pronounced to 4 convicts of the much talked about Delhi Gangrape and Murder case, I woke up to learn that a a cleric and teacher who is associated with a renowned Madarsa for girls in the old city of Hyderabad was arrested for molesting a minor student .This reminded me of Asaram Bapu sexual assault case who is behind the bars these days for raping a minor girl at his ashram.
Again when I reached the office to prepare and present my news 'Duniya Bhar Se' I came across a news report about an American Catholic Priest who was sentenced to 50 years for taking sexually explicit photos of several young girls, including a 2-year-old.
Universal phenomenon !
Oh God !
What happened to these 'religious people' ?

THE MAN WHO GAVE A CORPORATE TOUCH TO URDU
I know him as an stage icon who gave a corporate touch to Urdu a victim of hostile political environment since partition. I appreciate him for his for endeavours to promote the language and theatre and have a lot of respect for him.

WHY MODI CAN NEVER BE THE PM ?
With much fanfare BJP today declared Narendra Modi as its Prime Ministerial candidate ignoring stiff opposition from none other than a veteran like LK Advani. But I feel the long nurtured dream of a self confessed 'Hindu Nationalist' to be the Prime Minister of a diverse country like India will never be fulfilled.
I strongly believe that the era of single party rule has become a thing of past.Coalition politics is here to stay in India.
BJP is effectively left with only two alliance partners in the form of a 'reluctant' Shiv Sena and Akali Dal. Among them the latter will have to deal with the anti incumbency factor in Punjab.
It ll not be an easy task for BJP to find and convince new partners to support a Modi led Government in Delhi in light of his track record especially 2002 anti Muslim riots allegedly engineered and supported by his Government. Such probable allies like Mulayam, Mayawati or Mamata will have their own compulsion when it comes to support 'Namo'. Keeping a good rapport with the minorities particularly Muslims will be more important for them than sharing power in Delhi risking their holds in their respective states.
So 'Mitr' Modi should celebrate this occasion of the announcement of his candidature as much as he can as there won't be any such moment for him post 2014 LS polls.
Keep in mind folks the red fort will never turn saffron.

The Seljuks and the Turanis were living here
The chinese were living in China and the Sasanis in Iran
The Greeks were also living in this world
The Jews and the Christians were also there
But, who took their swords out for you ?
Who mended the messy ways ?

THE RISE OF AN EVIL ?
What's happening in a political party today reminds me of a movie I watched on History Channel few years ago - Hitler: The Rise of Evil. It shows Adolf Hitler's rise and his early consolidation of power during the years after World War I and focuses on how the annoyed, politically divided and economically jolted state of German society after the war made that rise possible. Are we in the process of 'dictator in the making'? I hope not.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT
Hi friends, Yesterday I launched my google blog and it was an INSTANT HIT. Over 1600 page views in less than 12 hours ! OMG ! Isn't this great? Thanks all. A friend Syed Faheem volunteered to make a website for me. Working on this now. I hope it will meet your expectations. Need your prayers.
DUG A MOUNTAIN TO FIND A MOUSE !
We all might have heard an Urdu proverb 'khoda pahad nikla chuha'. This is what exactly happened tonight in a bank at Humayun Nagar, Hyderabad. A technical snag in the security alarm of a nationalised bank adjacent to Police Station create panic and put the cops on their toes. Later after hectic search and through enquiry,it was found to everyone's surprise that the movements of rats raised the security alarm. Isn't this a clear case of 'dug a mountain only to find the mouse'.
MOHAMMED PAHALWAN WANTS COMPROMISE ?
In a dramatic event supporters of Mohaamad Pahawalan, the alleged plotter of the attack on MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi reached party headquarter Darruslalam this afternoon and met Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi in an effort to make peace.
According to sources MIM president received them well and held talks for over 30 minutes but he was not inclined to go for compromise. "I suffer great pain for whatever happened with my younger brother despite our best efforts to reconcile", senior owaisi reportedly told the delegation. Barrister Owaisi said the party will fight a legal battle to seek the justice. "The revenge was never in our minds", he clarified in presence of Akbaruddin Owaisi who was brutally attacked in a busy area of Barkas during his visit there over two years ago. The MIM President assured them that he ll leave no stone unturned for the deveoplment of Barkas area that comes under Chandrayangutta, a constituency represented by his younger sibling Akbar in the Assembly.
Earlier this group of 25 to 30 persons led by the Imam of Jama Masjid Barkas suddenly reached Darussalam in 5 vehicles to surprise everyone present there. Upon reaching MIM headquarters they first held talks with Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala for few minutes and insisted to meet the party president.
Eight of the total 15 accused are lodged in Cherlapally jail following the Supreme Court striking down their special leave petition last year. In 2012, the SC while cancelling the bails petitions of the eight accused, made it clear that they were not entitled to get bail at all.
On April 30, 2011 Mohammed Bin Omer Yafai and other members of his family had allegedly attacked Akbaruddin Owaisi. The Central Crime Station (CCS) registered a case of attempt to murder, criminal conspiracy and illegal possession of arms. They also arrested accused Mohammed Bin Omer Yafai aka Mohammed Pahelwan, Younus Bin Omer Yafai, Hasan Bin Omer Yafai, Abdullah Bin Younus Yafai, Awadh Bin Younus Yafai, Afif Yafai, Saleh Wahlan, Saif, Bahadur Ali Khan aka Munawar Iqbal, Faisal Bin Ahmed and Fazal Bin Ahmed. The CCS sleuths filed a charge-sheet in the case along with forensic reports.
COMPROMISE ON THE CARDS ?
FLASH : Influential people from Barakas who are probably Mohammad Pahalwan supporters reached MIM headquarters Darussalam and held talks with Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala.

SHIKWA - EXPLANATION OF 4TH STANZA

قوت بازوے مسلم نے کیا کام تیرا
Before we came into being , your world was very weird
and strange
Stones were being worshiped at some places and trees
were regarded as gods in other parts
Human tendency then was to worship the things which
can be seen.
Why would people accept a God that was not conspicous?
Do you know someone who was there to take your name ?
It was the strength of Muslims which did your work

؟
You have been present from the very beginning.
The flower was there in the garden, but the air was
not bothered to spread its fragrance.
You are the one who is just and dispassionate in your decisions.
Tell us how the fragrance of flower would have spread
had there been no air?
We were bothered for our own contentment
Else the nation of your beloved was fool?
