The minorities of Andhra Pradesh have lost a sympathizer in the demise of Basheeruddin Babu Khan. It is yet another shock for them in less than two months after the death of TDP leader Lal Jan Basha. The community is losing its stalwarts with frequent intervals and it is regrettable to note that we are not able to find their replacement or fill the vacuum created by their deaths. A true friend of the community he would always care for the upliftment of the people. A higlhy educated politician he was the founder member of Telugu Desam Party. He served in the cabinet of NTR and Chanda Babu Naidu. He resigned from the ministry to protest against the TDP's alliance with the communal BJP. May Allah accept his good deeds for the masses and grant him the highest place in Jannat.
